Bonaventure Realty Group (Bonaventure) is a real estate private equity company headquartered in Arlington, VA which was founded in 1999.  Bonaventure specializes in multifamily asset management, development, and redevelopment, primarily in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern US.  Bonaventure is fully integrated to oversee every phase of the acquisition, management, and disposition of our properties.

Bonaventure has organized twenty private real estate investments which have purchased multifamily properties valued at approximately $500 million.  Bonaventure and Bonaventure affiliates have acquired 4,126 multi-family units and currently own 4,150 units, including those under construction.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to serve as Operations/Development Coordinator for a rapidly growing and dynamic property management organization. This position is responsible for ensuring effective communication between the Development, Asset Management, and Operations teams during a property renovation. The primary responsibility of the candidate is to create and implement an effective renovation plan that maximizes revenue and mitigates risk, while ensuring unparalleled customer service for current and prospective residents. Specific Responsibilities:

  • Conduct weekly transition calls between the Development, Asset Management, and Operations teams.
  • Participate in weekly contractor meetings and report pertinent information to appropriate channels
  • Monitor renovation schedule by regularly walking units & community; prepare and submit reports on project progress.
  • Provide timely and thorough communication to residents regarding all phases of renovation and how they will be affected.
  • Update availability in Property Management Software to coincide with unit delivery dates, ensuring that residents can move in as scheduled.
  • Provide timely communication regarding any construction delays to property staff and to current & future residents.
  • Performs other duties as assigned which are in the best interests of the company.

Qualifications:

  • Five (5) or more years multifamily leasing experience required
  • Previous Tax-credit experience required
  • Experience with Entrata preferred 
  • Above average ability to communicate with clients and with co-workers, verbally and in writing
  • Superior conflict resolution skills
  • Basic personal computer skills and ability to learn specialized software.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends and some holidays as required.
  • Ability to learn and comply with industry legal requirements, especially related to Federal and Local Fair Housing Laws.
  • Ability to travel as needed
