Bonaventure Realty Group (Bonaventure) is a real estate private equity company headquartered in Arlington, VA which was founded in 1999.  Bonaventure specializes in multifamily asset management, development, and redevelopment, primarily in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern US.  Bonaventure is fully integrated to oversee every phase of the acquisition, management, and disposition of our properties.

Bonaventure has organized twenty private real estate investments which have purchased multifamily properties valued at approximately $500 million.  Bonaventure and Bonaventure affiliates have acquired 4,126 multi-family units and currently own 4,150 units, including those under construction.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to serve as a Talent Manager for a rapidly growing and dynamic property management organization. This position is responsible for new employee recruitment and overseeing the employee review process.   • Work with internal teams and hiring managers to assist with recruitment efforts.
  • Assist with both external and internal hiring efforts.
  • Drive all major recruiting initiatives across the organization. Manage the recruitment process and life-cycle, including initial assessments, interviews, and offers.
  • Identify and source appropriate talent for current open roles within the organization
  • Identify future talent needs and proactively recruiting and sourcing; develop talent pool or social engagements.
  • Identify and build effective sourcing strategies for all jobs including utilizing social networking, job posting, campus recruiting and other candidate generation sources, including external posting templates, career site content and creative and company promotional materials.
  • Participate in employment events, such as career fairs
  • Utilize people analytics to develop hiring processes, training programs and leadership development tracks
  • Oversee the employee performance management to help managers and employees understand the expectations for success and to give and receive feedback
  • Oversee internal employee surveys to obtain feedback and engage the organization at large
  • Maintain a knowledge base of latest market trends to ensure that Bonaventure is a best in class organization
  • Help ensure on-boarding efforts are supported for all new hires, ensuring transition from engaged candidate to engaged and contributing employee
  • Manage ongoing communication strategies internally to drive program adoption, help facilitate hiring manager recruitment ownership and participation, and provide training and best practices


  • Four-year college degree in human resources or 2+ years of experience in a related field
  • Experience managing a team of people preferred
  • Experience with Jazz, HR Cloud, and Perfode preferred
  • Experience with Nexus and Entrata preferred
  • Full understanding of HR policies and procedures preferred
  • Above average ability to communicate with prospective and current employees and with senior leadership
  • Ability to travel to all company-managed sites, as needed.
